 Salem High School Class of 1959 - Latest News 03-06-2018 - Janet Sooy Shears Janet Sooy Shears' husband Jan called last evening to tell us that Janet has been in St. Elizabeth's hospital in Youngstown since February 11, 2018. Â Janet suffered a stroke initially but then subsequent to that had a problem with her colon which required surgery. Â She is now in rehab but has issues with her left side and eyesight. Â Janet needs our love and support and prayers. Â You are a great class and we know you will let Janet know how much you care. Â She is in 5517A at St. E's.
