 Salem High School Class of 1959 - Latest News 04-28-2010 - Fred McNeal Update Below is a message from Fred giving us the current status of his battle with leukemia. "The good news is I am in remission now. However, I will have one week a month for four months of chemo. This chemo is only one type, not the mixture of several, but is triple the dose. The doctor started me on this program last week so I only have three to go. I try to do things to keep me busy and I am eating almost everything. Still do not have a really good taster yet. I need to get some of the twenty pounds that I lost with the first treatment Thanks for all the cards and prayers.
