LISBON - Marjorie Ann Hiscox, 68, died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Hospice House.
Born June 21, 1941 in Salem, she was a daughter of the late James Henry and Helen Marjorie (Charleton) Hoopes.
She had worked in inside sales for Ohio Hoist and Simmers Engineering for nearly 30 years, retiring in 2001.
She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lisbon B.P.W., and Lisbon Kiwanis and was a 1959 graduate of Salem High School.
Survivors include her long-time companion William Ashton; three sons, T.K. (Beth) Hiscox of Lisbon, Derek (Patty) Hiscox of Salem and Doug (Linda) Hiscox of Columbiana; her son-in-law Herb Shultz of Salem; two sisters, Carolyn (Paul) Harrington of Hammond, Ind., and Ruth Wagmiller of Poland, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Kayla and Hannah Hiscox, Eric and Ryan Hiscox, Derek Tullis, Mellissa Huzyak, Allyson Tomko, and Chad Shultz; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband Twing Hiscox in 1983. Her daughter Denise Shultz is also deceased.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Pam Gable officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
