 Salem High School Class of 1959 - Latest News 11-14-2013 - Class of '59 IR (Injured Reserve) List We have learned of two of our classmates who have recently fallen and could use our cards and well wishes as they recover. They are Patty Hutcheson Proctor and Mary Lou Bryan Popa. You can find their addresses on our website, www.salemhighschool1959.com, under "Contact Classmates." Judy Safreed McKee provided the following information about Mary Lou: Just wanted to confirm that Mary Lou is at Blossom [in Salem] now for rehab in Room 310A. She took a very bad fall down a flight of steps from 2nd to 1st floor in the middle of the night (12:30) Son found her the next morning unconscious called EMT's who took her to St E's. She was there for 6 days with damaged Vertebraes and bad bruises and 18 stitches in her head. Amazingly, she is doing fairly well now in spite of all her injuries. I asked her if she minded you putting her accident out to class on the website and she had that would fine. We wish both classmates a speedy recovery. Return to Latest News |
